THIS SEASON

While we seem to say this every year, the 2024–25 season easily tops the list as our greatest year yet. Our team size skyrocketed with the most interest and participation in MCT history, paired with an outstanding number of podium finishes. Alongside continuing our existing sponsorships, we proudly welcomed Friction Labs—an absolute staple in the climbing world—to our growing list of partners. The team traveled far and wide, competing in Grand Rapids, Holland, multiple competitions across Indiana, and over to Chicago, before sending our largest group ever to Nationals in Salt Lake City. Our online presence also surged, with a single reel nearly matching the total reach of all of last year at over 1-million views and counting, helping us become the most-followed collegiate climbing team in the nation. Although we narrowly missed claiming the unofficial Midwest champions title, the season culminated with a 3rd place finish from Bruno Garcia and several other top-20 performances at Nationals, propelling the team to its second consecutive 5th place finish in the team bouldering championship.
